Here we finally have it - the Frora!
Distilled at Clynelish distillery, matured in ex-peated bloodtubs: a vatting of American oak Oloroso and European oak PX.
The original cask was unfortunately leaky. The upside? Some lovely oxidation. The downside? Fewer bottles to go around, so this one is only available exclusively on our website.
Nose: Biscoff, toffee, raspberries, pear drops, hazelnuts and chamomile.
Palate: Maraschino cherries, figs and gingerbread, with orange peel, apple and heather honey. Menthol, allspice and cardamom, with a hint of peat smoke.
Finish: Lingering ashy smoke, summer berries and wood spice.
58.2% ABV, 700ml, Distilled 19/10/2017, Bottled 21/10/2026, only 61 bottles produced, Single Malt Scotch Whisky
