Woody Tan
Director, sales manager, marketing manager, spirits manager, wood manager, brand ambassador, warehouseman, cleaner and everything else in between…
Originally from Hong Kong, Woody has lived in Scotland since 2011. He has an BSc in Medical Sciences at University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Brewing and Distilling at Heriot Watt University and that’s probably why you will see a lot of his scientific approach to the bottlings.
While he is into his beer and whisky, he is also a keen gym goer and a weekend gamer.
(Yes, I built the website myself and now I am referring myself in the third person…and I don’t really have much to say about myself. :P)
Megan Caldwell

Megan, originally from Glasgow, accidentally discovered her love of whisky after a life-changing sip of Lagavulin 16 in the Athletic Arms one night. She then ditched her career of neuroscience to join the whisky world!
Savannah Sewell
Brand Representative / Sales / Marketing / Social Media / Brand Ambassador / Illustrator
Originally from Melrose, Savannah has lived in Edinburgh since 2021. After studying Biochemistry at university, she somehow ended up in the whisky industry instead — a career path that makes perfect sense if you don't think about it too much.
As Woodrow’s Brand Representative, Savannah wears a frankly unnecessary number of hats. She handles direct, on-trade and off-trade sales, creates social media content, represents Woodrow’s at events and tastings, and generally spends a lot of her time talking about, promoting and drinking whisky.
She also painted Woodrow’s first illustrated product label, proving that occasionally her creative side is useful for something other than making increasingly questionable Instagram posts.
When she’s not working, she can generally be found enjoying a dram, planning her next excuse to talk about whisky, or reminding people that “professional alcoholic” is technically her real job.
